Yogyakarta (ANTARA News) - Mbah Maridjan found in safe condition near the 13 victims killed by a hit by hot clouds of Mount Merapi in Kinahrejo Hamlet, Village Umbulharjo, Cangkringan District, Sleman District, Yogyakarta Special Region.

Caretaker of Mount Merapi, Mbah Maridjan reportedly been found in safe condition, but her physical weakness, not far from his home in the hamlet of Kinahrejo which is about six kilometers from the summit of Merapi, on Tuesday night.

"Interpreter of Mount Merapi, Mbah Maridjan key found in safe condition by a member search team (SAR)," said Base Commander of the Navy Marine Col. Aloysius Pramono Yogyakarta, Sleman, Wednesday.

He said Mbah Maridjan found in safe condition not far from his home in the hamlet of Kinahrejo.

"In Hamlet Kinahrejo have found 13 victims killed by a hit by hot clouds of Mount Merapi, one of them a doctor from the Medical Police.

According to him, one journalist was found dead in the hamlet of Kinahrejo, near the house Mbah Maridjan.

According to Aloysius, the current search teams and evacuation has suspended the search of victims, and the plan was followed at 05.30 pm, Wednesday.

"The search for victims was suspended at 23.30 pm, because it obstructed the cold weather especially," he said.

Search victim hot clouds of Mount Merapi is focused on two areas namely Kinahrejo and Turgo village, Sleman regency, Yogyakarta.

"The search for possible survivors or dead, is focused on two villages south of Merapi foot of Kinahrejo and Turgo. The two hamlets are the most severely hit by hot clouds of the mountain," said Pramod Aloysius.

He said the evacuation of the victims were under the command Korem 072 Pamungkas. "Evacuation of casualties hot clouds of Mount Merapi, under the command of Korem 072 Pamungkas Yogyakarta by including a number of personnel from the Indonesian military (TNI) and Police," he said.

According to him, the evacuation of victims need a chainsaw to cut a fallen tree blocking the evacuation route.

He said the Navy deployed 47 personnel to assist the process of evacuation, and they were deployed in some areas of the search.

Meanwhile, the death toll till Tuesday night about 15 people, and dozens of other victims had burns and asphyxiation.

Three volunteers who will be conducting searches in Hamlet Kaliadem, Kepuharjo Village, District Cangkringan, Sleman who suffered severe damage due to heat clouds swept away.

Volunteers who ride by using fire-resistant clothing from the Fire Department Satmawowargo namely Sleman, Indratno, and Heru Sapto Priyo.

It is estimated that in this village many fall victim because the distance is only about five kilometers from the summit of Mount Merapi.

Yogyakarta Governor Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X said the Mount Merapi emergency response is handled by provincial and district government of Sleman.

After visiting the victims in Panti Nugroho, Sultan HB X rushed to several camps for displaced residents of its territory located in areas prone to disasters (KRB) III Mount Merapi.

Meanwhile, as many as 14 victims of the hot clouds of Mount Merapi until Tuesday at 23:00 pm still being treated in the Hospital Panti Nugroho, Pakem, Sleman regency.

Meanwhile, according to one doctor in Panti Nugroho, Dr. Adi, from 14 victims who were treated at this hospital, some of which should be referred to this hospital in Yogyakarta, because it had burns over 40 percent.
